The Londoner producer and Dj Gavin King aka Aphrodite, is a key
player in the whole Drum and Bass movement. He is the owner of the
historical “Aphrodite Recordings” label and he is one of the absolute
pioneer of this musical genre. He began playing in the far summer of
1988 in the London club called just “Aphrodite” and from that moment the
name is not changed. Through several meetings with Djs like Micky Finn
and Claudio Giussani was born “Urban Shakedown”, later on Mickey and
Gavin went on to form Urban Takeover. In the meanwhile Gavin set up
“Aphrodite Recordings” and another label together with Micky Finn.
Aphrodite is commonly referred to as the “Godfather of Jungle” as the
most prominent exponent of the dnb and the jungle. With tracks as
“Stalker”, soundtrack of the movie “Human Traffic” he has been one of
the most played producer in the clubs all around the world. Nowadays,
Gavin, who is continuously in tour worldwide, is known for his music
that ranges from the classical of dnb to fresher and exclusive dubstep’s
records. Featurings with Barrington Levy, Wildflower and many other
historical remix are stuck in the mind of jungle enthusiasts. Aphrodite
has already played for One Beat Movement at Wildsession Festival in
Mallare (SV) in front of 1500 delighted fans but this is his first time
ever in Bolzano.

Francesco Dibenedetto, also known as MOIZ “The Juggler From Mars” is
one of the largest and most active DJ’s in the urban music scene in
Europe.Moiz plays continuously in all the major parties in Italy
(Milan,Rome,Naples,Salento and more…) and also in several European
countries like Germany,Slovenja, Austria, Switzerland, Holland, Spain,
Hungary, Sweden and also in the U.S.A. such as Miami where he has many
collaboration with Champion Squad and a victory obtained in the tag team
clash with his musical partner from Champion Squad & Shadyville DJ;
DJ REEM, against KillaFace Sound system and Big Life sound system.
