Ein weiterer Höhepunkt des Step Forward Festivals findet am 18. März in der Fluc Wanne statt, wenn der Fischerhut tragende Youtube-Star Yung Lean aus Stockholm von „fucking hoes and popping pills like Tic Tacs“ rappt. Gemeinsam mit The Sad Boys kreiert er eine sphärische Stimmung, die mit dunklen Beats und witzigen Texten aufwartet. Mit dabei ist auch der österreichische Cloud Rap-Export Crack Ignaz, das mysteriöse Duo Phatman & VJesus sowie Sexy Deutsch.


Yung Lean and his Sad Boys exists in a universe of instant references to the pop culture that surrounds them. Digimon, Space Jam, Nintendo64, Mindcraft, Transformers, Super Smash Bros., Pokemon, Windows screensavers... All born 1995-1996, Sad Boys got a flowing, asymmetrical and multicoloured creativity where wrong might as well be right. Emotional laser sword melancholia from Stockholm.

After a 2013 that saw them go from unknown freshmen to one million + views on Youtube and collaborations with the american hip hop nobility, it's time to meet the fans in Europe. The Sad Boys White Marble Tour visits 24 cities in 26 days. The Sad Boys movement is world wide, and it's only just begun.
