In digital electronics a Tristate allows a third output port in addition to the 0 and 1 logic levels.
So it does in music. Neither Progressive nor Full On, Tristate brings you a new state of psychedelic dance music.
Tristate is the project formed by Georg H. & Markus H. from vienna, who both were DJing and producing different types of music since 2005. After a creative break Georg and Markus joined forces again in 2014 to take the Tristate sound to the next level.
In that short period of time Tristate has been releasing music at the most recognisable labels in the psytrance scene including Iboga Records, IONO Music, Digital Om Productions, Techsafari Records, Yellow Sunshine Explosion, Hadra Records, Flow EV Records, Planet BEN and many more.
2017 sees the release of Tristate’s debut album titled „Believe It Or Not“ on their home label Digital Om Productions, which is definatly their most personal production yet.
Constantly playing at austrias largest psytrance indoor and open air events like Paradise Winter Festival, Flow Festival, Cosmic Space Disco, just to name a few and steadily progressing to an international level.
Played for promoters and parties like Flow Festival, Paradise Winter Festival, Cosmic Space Disco, Y-Production Hungary, The Experience Koh Tao, SUN Festival, Beatpatrol, Soundlab Pirates, Mondton, SundayChaiZelt, Deeprog, Orion, Ban Sabaii and the list goes on and on…

Schon als Kind verfolgte der gebürtige Oberösterreicher den DJ - Traum, 2007 begann er schlussendlich mit abwechslungsreichen und markanten Minimal-Electro-Sounds. Nach 5 Jahren Electro-Minimal-Techno wechselte er im Jahr 2012 zu seiner Leidenschaft Progressive Psy Trance. Wer seinen Stil schon genießen durfte, weiß dass motivierende groovige Sounds bei ihm genauso großgeschrieben werden, wie energiegeladene Drops und treibende Beats. "Tanzmotivation zu druckvollen Beats" kann man sein Konzept kurz beschreiben. Seine Sets sind äußerst abwechslungsreich, gut dramaturgisch durchdacht und definitiv tanzbar. Mit ca. 20-30 Gigs pro Jahr und als Veranstalter von vielen Electronic Music Festivals in Österreich (ELEMENTS Festival, ILLUSION Festival, FREE TREE OPEN AIR, PRESSURE Festival) konnte er die lokale Szene deutlich beeinflussen und zählt in dem Genre somit zu den wichtigsten Veranstaltern in der Region. Mittlerweile war sein motivierender und abwechslungsreicher Sound schon bei vielen Festivals und Clubs in Österreich, Deutschland, der Schweiz sowie auch in Panama zu hören. Seit dem Jahr 2017 wurde er zum label DJ von dem weltweit bekannten label IONO
