Mosaïque's fourth season spins forward on October 11th with a program of waltzes and polkas and other delightful ditties that are guaranteed to make you want to trip the light fantastic!

With ball season just a few short months away, we've decided to kick off the evening with a Viennese Waltz class. Whether you've never gotten around to learning. have always felt too clumsy, or have simply let your dancing shoes get dusty, here's your chance to master those steps this city is famous for. The hour-long class will start at 6pm and all are welcome to come either solo or as a pair!

The evening continues with a concert program of whirling, swirling dance music selections by Schumann, Shostakovich and Kálmán as well as Brahms' beloved "Liebeslieder Walzer". Joining us will be soprano Sylvia Greenberg, mezzo-soprano Christina Sidak, tenor Jan Petryka, bass-baritone/saxophonist extraordinaire Huub Claessens, pianists Deirdre Brenner and David Aronson, as well as a couple of other very special guests (it wouldn't be Mosaïque without a few surprises, right?) .
