★ MIKE VÄTH (Zürich) ★

Durchstarter der Clubkultur 2010, haucht einem ordentlichen Schuss feinster technoider Töne und einem Mega-Liveact neues Leben ein.

Als Frankfurter Original erlebt er die elektronische Musik und deren Veränderung in der Szene und versteht exzellent etwas davon, was guter Techno ist; auch durch die Verbindung zu seinem Bruder Sven Väth (ohne jemals seinem Fahrwasser gewesen zu sein), mit dem er zu Omens Zeiten lieber tanzend vor den Decks abgefeiert hat.

Mit René Walliczek und Paul Schulte, bildet er 1999 – 2000 erstmals mit einen Live Act: „Das Mike Väth Project“. Erst nach Schließung des legendären Omen Club im Jahre 1999 entdeckt Mike die Plattenteller für sich. Nachdem er beim "We are Punks on the Beach"-Festival das Publikum ekstatisch und am Rande der Erschöpfung zurücklässt, bietet ihm Datapunk-Labelchef Anthony Rother spontan einen Handschlag-Deal an.

Mittlerweile in Zürich lebend, feiert er große Erfolge. Mit seinem eigenen Label "Gon Records/Zürich" ist eine neue elektronische Ära geboren. Er ist, wie sein treibend unverkennbarer Sound -in seinem Stil groovig, minimal, technoid, seinem Publikum immer angepasst- nicht mehr zu stoppen und als „Club-Artist hinter den Decks, –immer noch tanzend-, kaum mehr zu toppen!

Mittlerweile Resident des U60311, beschert er nationalen sowie Internationalen Clubs mit hypnotisierenden digitalen Drums & Beats, einer ständig einzigartigen Performance und mit seinen Liveacts immer wieder schweißtreibende Nächte.

★ ZANSHIN (Wien) ★

Zanshin, one member of OGRIS DEBRIS is from Vienna and likes to play with sounds. If you are more into blahblah than listening, here's a hot balloon as follows:

Zanshin is a versatile beast, a swiss army knife of electronic music. His influences are as out-of-space and farfetched as they are near-field and heartfelt. Like a painter in a white room he extends his arms to the fullest to paint what's left in a musical landscape of his own, using all available colours and brushes, leaving the listener with a fully grown universe of experience. As much as he enjoys banging out frenetic and frantic beat structures capable of blowing any rock formation to bits and pieces, he relishes the lush and lascivious green fields of thick synthesized ambiences.

Exploring Zanshin will leave you with traces of any kind of broken step leading to classic electro flirting with abstract jazz and avantgarde. Bewildering field recordings mingling with heavy weight bass champions and there may always be a narrative voice lurking around the corner, singing a lullaby of sorts. This is music that spreads from sweaty club floors to lonely rides on the night train with ease, a fractured panorama of emotional complexity. A fascination with all kinds of structures in sounds, surprising twists and turns and epic moments are omnipresent and tantamount to a kind of credo. And if you ask himself, he might tell you a weird tale about an apprentice and a witch.

Zanshin is an idea, more a concept than a name, meaning "the heart that remains". As its roots are found in asian martial arts, it is hinting at a certain kind of vigilance and alertness, ready to react in any given situation. Something for your mind, body and soul.

Bereits mit 10 Jahren begann er seine Liebe zu diesem außergewöhnlichen Medium zu entdecken. War es anfangs Hip Hop, dem er sich verschrieben hatte, so kam vor etwa fünf Jahren die Wende. Mit großer Motivation fing ier an, seinen Geschmack weiterzuentwickeln, alles in diesem Kontext stehende zu sammeln und kam (über Umwege) zur elektronischen Musik. Seine besondere Vorliebe gilt nach wie vor dem Dubstep, denn er ist für ihn einer der besten Kanäle, um Emotionen auszudrücken. Sein Lebensziel war es stets, mit Musik zu arbeiten, sie auseinander zu nehmen, nur um sie in veränderter Form wieder zusammenzusetzen. Das hat er zu seiner Geisteshaltung gemacht, denn alles fließt und nichts bleibt; es gibt nur ein ewiges Werden und Wandeln- Pantha rei...

My Name is Martin and i am 20 years old.
I started making music when i was 6 years old.
I played the violin for about 2 years but it wasn't exactly what i was lookin for. In the Age of 8 i found my love in drumming.

Since i was more in Metal then any other Genre, i joined as Singer (later as Drummer & Singer) to a band in my Hometown. We got some Concerts and Recorded 2 Songs in my little Homemade "Studio".
After dissolving i had enough of being reliant to people so I wanted to find my own Way to do it.

Some Months later, when i was listening to Drum and Bass and Dubstep, i found a big connection between Electro and Metal.

I started DJ'ing in May 2013 and i am trying to give my best since then!
